Esao Andrews has just rehauled his website entirely, and once again has an elegant and playful animated menu.
Esao is a founding member of the Meathaus collective and recently had a nine-page interview in Juxtapoz #69.
Esao is a terrific painter and its great to see him on here and to see the new work on his site.

Esao Andrews is a painter, Baker Skateboards illustrator/designer and Meathaus Collective member.
Andrews is also well-known for his cutting-edge flash animation, for which Vector Park's Patrick Smith has served as acknowledged mentor.
Andrews recently had a story published in the original Fables graphic novel 1001 Nights of Snowfall.

Esao Andrews’ work fits loosely into a branch of contemporary fantastic art called “pop surrealism”.
His work often involves portrait-like images of young women in conjunction with odd elements, such as objects that are combinations of plant and animal forms, apparently intended to be a bit disconcerting.
If you like quirky, imaginative and oddball images, though, Esao’s work is worth the trouble to look through the galleries.

Andrews is a fun artist and deserves a website that markets his work without turning away visitors.
Andrew Sullivan’s book, The Conservative Soul: How We Lost It, How to Get It Back is reviewed in the October 2006 deadtree edition of First Things by Timothy Fuller, who dismantles Sullivan’s arguments handily.

Painter, illustrator, skateboard designer and sometimes comics artist Esao Andrews grew up in Mesa, Arizona and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York in what he claims is “a drunken splendor” with his dog Soybean.
A frequent contributor to the Meathaus comics anthology, Esao is now concentrating on paintings for several future gallery shows.

 Meathaus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Meathaus (sometimes spelled Meat Haüs or Meathaüs) is a comics anthology created by the Meathaus Collective, created by a group of artists who attended New York City's School of Visual Arts in or around 2000.
Many of its members have become celebrated cartoonists and painters in their own right, including Esao Andrews (esao.net), Farel Dalrymple (Pop Gun War), and Tomer Hanuka (Harvey nominated Bipolar).
There have been seven Meathaus anthologies so far, some of which have been nominated for various awards in the comics industry.
