I'm relatively new to the world of Marvel Comics fandom, so new in fact that the first time I had ever heard of Jessica "Spider-Woman" Drew was only a couple of years ago while I was looking through the Marvel Encyclopedia 4: Spider-Man. At first glance, my thoughts about her were entirely cynical.
Marvel tried really...really hard in the 1970's and early 80's to develop a popular female super hero into her own on-going title.
Spider-Woman / Jessica Drew was one of Marvel Comic's 70's female character attempts, and one of only several to survive to this day.

World Famous Comics: Essential X-Factor Volume 1 TPB (Essential (Marvel Comics))
His Marvel run on Thor is the best ever for that character, his Fantastic Four was great as well, if underrated, and his DC Kirby-influenced Orion still stands as the best comic book series of all time in my opinion).
Essential X-Factor expertly chronicles the slow build-up that the team experienced - from Jean's "coffin" found in the pages of Avengers and "resurrection" in Fantastic Four, through Warren's crippling loss of his wings during the Mutant Massacre that crossed over X-Factor, Power Pack, and Thor.
The catch is that the mutant hunters are really our friends Cyclops, Iceman and the rest in disguise and that the front will allow them to find wayward mutants, teach them to control their powers and live peaceful lives as Xavier taught them, and as Angel put it, "take the mutant-haters to the cleaners".

"Ghost Rider" was one of several horror comic books that Marvel put out in the early 1970s where you got hooked on the title because Michael Ploog was drawing the book and then he moved on to something else and it was just not the same with the replacement artist.
However, of the artists that replaced Ploog I have to say that Frank Robbins did give the book a unique look and his name should be included on the cover instead of Herb Trimpe (Robbins drew four issues included here and George Tuska three, while Trimpe just did the Son of Satan origin).
"Essential Ghost Rider Volume 1" collects together "Marvel Spotlight" #5-12, "Ghost Rider" #1-20, and "Daredevil" #138, which is the penultimate story in the collection because it is a crossover with "Ghost Rider" #20.

Luke Cage Hero for Hire/Powerman is one of the most underappreciated and undervalued comic titles of the 1970's Cage was one of the first fl superheroes and the first "street" fl hero.
The art on the series was usually pretty good, better than most of the lower tier Marvel comics of the 1970's and the covers throughout were very good.
Case in point: there is one scene toward the end in which Dr. Burstein dismisses a reporter doing an exposé on fl superheroes by saying he should be concentrating on a hero's sense of honor and not the color of his skin.
