		Essex Township is a township located in Clinton County in the U.S. state of Michigan.
		In the township the population is spread out with 30.1% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 29.1% from 25 to 44, 23.5% from 45 to 64, and 9.8% who are 65 years of age or older.
		The median income for a household in the township is $47,647, and the median income for a family is $52,566.
