Hawkmoon's struggle with the empire of Granbretan was treated in The History of the Runestaff, which consists of four books ("The Jewel in the Skull", "The Mad God's Amulet", "The Sword of the Dawn", and "The Runestaff"); the setting of this tale is a post-nuclear holocaust Earth.

I always wanted to read the Eternal Champion series by Michael Moorcock, but it included so many series and so many different books that were either hard to find or out of print that I figured the task was too hard.
Eternal Champion is undoubtly, the most original fantasy series I have ever read next to LotR.

Two portraits appear for the ETERNAL, the lower one has a blue background and faces left, this is the First Tier ETERNAL who commands Dragon, Hawk, Shark and Tiger fighting styles.
For some reason, when the Eternal Champion uses his Millipede Style and activates his Dealth Lock, it deactivates his ability to use either Special Move in that Style even if you have plenty Inner Strength.

Since this is a balance issue, at times the 'Eternal Champion' will fight against order, and other times against chaos.
He is also known as The Prince in the Scarlet Robe, and he is also the present incarnation of the Eternal Champion, although he doesn't come to this realization until later in the novel.
