Rousseau served for 25 years as chief consultant to the Yamaha Corporation for research and development of saxophones.
Rousseau is co-founder of the World Saxophone Congress (1969), and has served as president of this organization, and of the Comité International du Saxophone.

An accomplished tenor saxophonist and bassoonist, and a member of the Palmetto Youth Orchestra at the time of the accident, one of the first things Orr said after recovering from the coma was that despite the loss of his arm, he would play sax again.
He is currently using one of the two one-handed saxophones that Stelling and Dr. Nabb developed, and plans to audition to rejoin his high school band later this year.

Saxophonist Bill Sears is the coordinator of Jazz Studies at the Interlochen Arts Academy, a position he has held since 1987.
In 1986 Bill toured the U.S. and Europe as the lead alto saxophonist in the Ray Charles Band.

Although conducting is my primary musical profession with experience as a regular guest conductor of the Croatian Amy Symphonic Band, the Zagreb Symphony Orchestra and the Zagreb Philharmonic, I'm currently more focused on saxophone performance and pedagogy as the professor of Saxophone at the University of Zagreb Music Academy.
You spent time studying with Eugene Rousseau in Indiana, but unfortunately had to return home to Croatia after only a few months because of the war in the Balkans.
