	Def Leppard - X
		This is not what I expected after Def Leppard's popular album "Euphoria".
		As good as this album sounds it would have been nice to have a couple of straight up rockers mixed in, and I hope they follow up this album with another return to the classic Def Leppard sound.
		That album follows their not so popular "Slang", and the band basically said that album was an experiment and "Euphoria" was a return to their early sound and they were giving the fans what they wanted.

		I,m from Layton,Utah I would definitely prefer rock-metal fans to purchase this album of Euphoria, it rocks the house with the "Back In Your Face", "Promises" and "21st Century Sha la la la Girl." I have every cd and video and enjoy every one.
		I really enjoyed listening to this album, I feel that Def Leppard have returned to their old selves after the very different sound of Slang.
		Not wanting to condemn Slang, but this album is true Def Leppard.There are many sounds that will seem familiar to most Lep Fans, however it is a musical gem in its own right.

	Showcase Album for June 1999 - Def Leppard "Euphoria"
		The result is an album that, ironically, sounds like Adrenalize on the surface but a more thorough inspection of Euphoria reveals it for what it is: a return to Def Leppard's pop-metal roots but from a different approach.
		Euphoria puts Def Leppard on the right track, though.
		Okay, Slang was not a great album but it revitalized Def Leppard and because of Slang, Def Leppard was able to go back to the Pyromania/Hysteria sound and inject something new into that same sound, thus they avoided creating a possible Adrenalize 2.

	Showcase Album for June 1999 - Def Leppard "Euphoria"
		That one album is probably the closest release I can think of that comes to a 10, and with that nostalgic value thrown it, I know I'd slap a 10 on it, and all albums that are released are measured up to this standard.
		Most of the songs on this album can be traced back to some of their past works, especially mirroring songs on both "Hysteria" and "Adrenalize", with a couple of dark songs tossed in that would have been right at home on "Retroactive".
		Another point for "Euphoria", is the fact that even though it sounds GOOD the first time through, the more I listened to it, the more I found myself liking it even better than I originally thought I was going to.
