		Japanese runners who wish to take part in the Intercontinental Istanbul Eurasia Marathon are now able to arrange their participation through J-Set Co. Ltd.
		It is the fourth time that the Balkan Marathon Championships take place within the Eurasia Marathon since the event was separated from the Balkan Games/Championships that have a long history dating back to 1929.

		Turkey over the weekend saw the 28th Istanbul Eurasia Marathon - incorporating the European Police Championships - set off from the Bosporus Bridge on its way from Asia to Europe with Lithuania's Mindaugas Pukstas (men) and Russia's Madina Biktagirova (women) eventually taking the honours with course records of 2:12:49, and 2:28:18 respectively.
