Eurofly is an airline based in Milan in Italy.
In 2003 the company was privatised with 80% being sold to the Banca Profilo Spinnaker fund, which bought the remaining shares in July 2004.
In the same year Eurofly set-up a base in Sharm el Sheikh with two Airbus A320-200s operating charter flights between there and several airports in Italy.

Eurofly plans to operate from Malpensa Intercontinental Airport outside Milan.
Giulio Ottaviani, Eurofly CFO, explained the company’s scheduling objective is to make it possible for a passenger to work in Milan in the morning, make the afternoon departure (with time saved through efficient ground services) and arrive in New York after eight-and-a-half hours in the air at about 6 p.m., just in time for dinner.
Established in Turin in 1989 to fly leisure charter for Alitalia, Eurofly was acquired in July this year by the Spinnaker Fund.

Before I reached the top of the pathway I saw the tail of a Blue Panorama 737 rolling on takeoff which was a pity to miss as the only shots I got of one the day before were badly effected by heat haze on the far runway after it landed in early afternoon.
Most of the Eurofly fleet were still parked at the Terminal and a few Azzura's were on remote spots so there was pleny to shoot over the next couple of hours as the Eurofly's in particular came out one after another.
Some Eurofly A320's were still picking up Football fans and one arrived at 4-30pm just as another was taxiing out to depart so I got them both in shot.

Italian charter airline Eurofly has ordered three Airbus A350-800 aircraft and is leasing two extra A330-200 jets to open up more long-haul destinations, the European plane maker said on Thursday.
The mid-sized, long-haul A350s will be delivered from 2013 and the extra A330-200s, powered by Pratt and Whitney PW4000 engines, will arrive in late 2006, Airbus said in a statement.
Eurofly, founded in 1990, is owned by the Spinnaker private equity fund.

Airbus, a week after the program received formal go-ahead, announced that Eurofly signed a letter of intent for three A350-800s for delivery from 2013 (ATWOnline, Oct. 7).
The Italian leisure airline also signed up to lease two A330-200s powered by PW4000s starting in late 2006.
Including the Eurofly deal, Airbus now has 143 commitments for the A350 and expects to hit 200 by year end.
