Eurojet was formed as "European Jetways" in August 1985, flying a fleet of three BAC-1-11s on routes connecting Paris, London Gatwick, and Manchester.
Throughout the first half of the 90s, the fleet of -200 series aircraft grew steadily, until 1996 when we were in possession of 38 of the type, and the 18 old, expensive, and noisy 727s were then retired.
We are planning to start the scrapping of our -200 series aircraft towards the end of 2006, and the type currently operate the shortest and lowest density flights, which are slowly being taken over by -600 aircraft arriving direct from the manufacturer.
