To "develop, promote and foster Athletics in Europe" is the very first object of the European Athletics Constitution.
In addition, European Athletics provides targeted programmes to assist its Member Federations and others at the national level to bring the excitement and benefits of athletics to everyone and make European Athletics a "Sport for Life".
European Athletics also works closely the Development Commission of the IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations), the IAAF’s Regional Development Centre in Moscow and other partners.
