The Champions (European) Cup is weighted at 50%, the EUFA Cup and its predecessor the Inter City Fairs Cup at 25%, the European Cup Winners Cup at 20% and the Inter-Toto Cup at 5%.
That is the Scottish Division A from 1946-47 through till 1955-56, Division 1 from 1956-57 until 1974-75, and the Premier Division from 1975-76 until 1997-98.
This is used to allocate places in the Champions’ League and the EUFA cup and seedings in all competitions.

Shortly after perhaps the most notable achievement of all, the 1975-76 League Cup semi-final, Premier League Ayr United invited him to become their new manager.
There was the 61-62 League Championship and in 1963 he played in the semi-final of the European Cup against AC Milan.
Alec also holds a Scottish Cup runners-up medal from 1964 and though his appearances for Dundee were restricted by a number of injuries, Newcastle were impressed enough to submit a bid of £55,000 for him.

Rummenigge won honours aplenty with the club: leading scorer in the Bundesliga (1980, 1981, 1984), German Footballer of the year (1980) and European Footballer of the year (1980, 1981), the World Club Cup (1976), the European Cup (1975, 1976), the DFB Cup (1982, 1984), and the Bundesliga title (1980, 1981).

In the 1975/76 UEFA Cup final, despite taking a 2-0 lead at Anfield, lost 4-3 on aggregate, and two years later, they went down 1-0 in the European Champion Clubs' Cup final at Wembley - again to the Liverpool.
Opened in August 1975, the stadium's capacity has grown from 18,000 to 30,000 and is home to two of Belgium's oldest clubs, Cercle Brugge KSV and their significantly more successful elder siblings, Club Brugge KV.
In 1986 both teams reached the Belgian Cup Final and for the first time the event was taken away from Heysel and played at the clubs' joint stadium.

In the 1975-76 season Wrexham F.C reached the quarter-final of the Cup-winners cup, losing marginally to the Belgium giants Anderlecht.
At the back end of the 2002/2003 season the Wrexham Evening Leader initiated a campaign to reinstate the ‘Welsh 3’ back into Europe via the FAW Premier Cup.
Sadly, the three Welsh clubs in the football league no longer qualify for European competition, but moves have been made to reverse this decision.
