 | | This project is examining the processes that are shaping public understanding of “nanotechnology” and inflecting the term with social meanings. |
 | | The analysis of these data has two goals: (1) improving conceptual understanding of the role of rhetoric in shaping social meanings about science; and (2) providing guidance to scientists and science communicators about how to interact more effectively with varied audiences, including members of the public, policymakers, industrial leaders, and investors. |
