The Eurovision Song Contest 2003 was the 48th Eurovision Song Contest and was held on May 24, 2003 in Riga, Latvia.
The presenters were Marie N (Marija Naumova, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 in Tallinn, Estonia) and Renārs Kaupers (anglicised by himself to Reynard Cowpers), whose band actually came in at third place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 held in Stockholm, Sweden.
This was the second time that a Eurovision contest had been hosted by two former participants, this happening earlier in 1991.
