		Early in his youth he was forced to join the Russian Imperial Guard, as tsar Alexander I of Russia demanded that all the heirs of aristocratic families be sent to Russian military schools to ensure their families' loyalty.
		It was suggested that he might be pardoned should he renounce his loyalty to the Commonwealth leaders of the uprising, but Sanguszko declined and the court sentenced him to loss of noble status, confiscation of all property (one of the largest fortunes in the region) and exile to Siberia.
		On December 18, 1831 Sanguszko was compelled to walk the entire way to Siberia (about 3300 km) in chains for his part in the insurrection, as was usual at the time.

		Pr Karol Sanguszko-Lubartowicz (1779-1840); note: I had her listed as sister of Eustachy, but received the following from Kazimierz Bem: “pss.
		Dorota Sanguszko (d.1829), who married her uncle prince Karol Sanguszko (d.1840), was not a sister but a daughter of prince Eustachy and his wife pss Klementyna Czartoryska.
		Eustachy married her to his cousin, and made sure, that she made him her heir.

		The church was designed by well known polish architect J. Sas-Zubrzycki.
		Neo-gothic styl, three-nave, built from brick and stone in 1904 - 1905 from the Sanguszko fundation.
