Evan Thornley (born 1965), Australian businessman, was a founder (with his wife, Tracey Ellery) and former Chairman and CEO of internet company Looksmart Ltd.
In 1991, Thornley graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws.
Evan Thornley is a member of the Australian Labor Party and as of January 28, 2006 is seeking state preselection in the state of Victoria with strong support from Premier Bracks [1].

All that Landeryou seems to have been able to come up with to diss Thornley is that he's not a right-winger (or a left-winger for that matter) and that he's made a motzah from Looksmart, but that it's not been doing so well since the dotcom boom collapsed.
The comment that Thornley is a proprietor of Pluto is supposed to be a negative, but we all know that Pluto had collapsed and only survived because Evan and his wife decided it needed rescuing.
I heard Thornley recently on Radio National (I think) and thought he was excellent.
