Evening Standard - Encyclopedia, History, Geography and Biography
The Evening Standard is an English tabloid newspaper published and sold in London and surrounding areas.
The paper was launched as the Standard on May 21, 1827, and for a short period, during the 1990s, it reverted to its original name (some other local newspapers in the UK have also been named Evening Standard).
Although the Standard (as it is commonly referred to) shares the same Editor in Chief, Paul Dacre, as the Daily Mail it has a quite different style from the latter's "middle England" outlook, having to appeal to a cosmopolitan readership.

 Awards Style Movie Posters
Awards posters are those that contain an indication somewhere on the body of the poster that the movie has either been nominated for or given a prestigious industry award.
Since these awards are usually given to films after they are released to the American theatres, any materials containing an awards reference that are rereleased to the theatres are considered to collectors to be reissues/rereleases and not original movie paper.
If the award is given after the movie's release to the theatres, even though it may still have been showing in theatres, the new movie materials are considered reissues/rereleases.

In fact, the sheer agony the girl feels is one of the heartbreaking things in the film, the mere confession to the psychiatrist (who is necessary to recommend a legal, hospital abortion on the grounds that having the child would be psychologically dangerous) that she had been raped was gut-wrenching.

The film charts the emotional and physical hothouse effects that bloom one summer for two young women: Mona, behind a spiky exterior, hides an untapped intelligence and a yearning for something beyond the emptiness of her daily life; Tamsin is well-educated, spoiled and cynical.
Mona's born-again Christian brother (Paddy Considine) factors into the film's languorous mood and complex emotional landscape; this is a film in which love and loss are inseparably intertwined, and motivations remain partially hidden, making it all the more powerful when guarded truths are revealed.
Pawlikowski matches this in the tone of the film, for despite the lyricism of many of the scenes, there is always a hint of darkness and danger lurking just beneath the surface.
