		Ok, Evergrey has one more brilliant album left, their 1999 sophomore release, Solitude, Dominance, Tragedy, and of course the cycle is a baseball term for getting all available hits in a game, ie a single, double, triple and a homer, so hopefully this review is a hit.
		Evergrey these days are playing a lot simpler in terms of style, (and still heavy!) but with this debut album I can see where their musical greatness started and continued to this day.
		Evergrey never ceases to amaze me. Although "In Search of Truth" is widely regarded as their best album, their latest effort, "The Inner Circle", is just as revolutionary and breathtaking as any mainstream album to date.

		The band was recently nominated for a Grammy in their home country; they've just completed a major US tour with Iced Earth and Children of Bodum and now, you will get the chance to see them live when they appear at the mighty Bloodstock Festival.
		It is Evergrey's first "pure" instrumental song and features a quiet piano intro followed by narrated vocals and heavenly strings.

		Evergrey excels in crafting heavy tunes which carry the listener along on a roller coaster of sound, such as on the opening number "The Great Deceiver." 		Being from Sweden, Evergrey's sound is decidedly European and should appeal to fans of groups such as Blind Guardian, Hammerfall and Stratovarius.

		Evergrey had problemen met hun tourbus, dus arriveerden ze een stuk later dan aangekondigd, maar Tom Englund en Rikard Zander vonden toch nog wat tijd om in de kelders van de Biebob af te dalen om er een interview te doorstaan.
		Tom: We zijn meer metal dan prog, maar de progmetal fans lijken ook van Evergrey te houden, dus het is eigenlijk aan de fans om te beslissen wat wij zijn.
