 Max Weber
Weber produced the studies included in the book in the years leading up to the First World War, in the absence of much the material and textual evidence produced by archeology, and under the influence of the "Higher Criticism".
Weber's interests in economics, law, bureaucracy, and religion led to some of the most scintillating writing ever produced in the social sciences, and his strenuous originality of thought, dense but lucid prose, and formidable analytical gifts invested his writings with lasting significance.
Max Weber arguably was the first social scientists who devoted his life's work to cross-cultural studies.

New Contemporary Christian Music Artists, Karl Kohlhase and Friends
The simple fact that you landed on this website (out of the hundreds of Christian music artists that are out there) is evidence that the Lord is blessing my humble efforts in the world of contemporary Christian music.
Sometimes Christian music artists shy away from themes like these, which can lead a person to think that once you become a Christian, life is all bubble gum and roses.
All Christian music artists sort of have their own niche.

 CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Mosaics
Evidence of this decay, both in design and practice is shown in the fact that when Abbot Desiderius, formerly legate at Constantinople and who became pope as Victor III, wished to decorate the monastery of Monte Cassino with mosaics, he brought artists and workmen from Constantinople in 1066 for that purpose.
Mosaic was, however, being rapidly superseded by fresco, which as a primary art giving the sentiment and character of the artists immediately, was of course much more esteemed by persons of discrimination than a mere copy in tesserae, or slabs of opaque glass.
The initial steps by which it gradually emerged from Pagan art are in a measure lost, for it rises suddenly like a phoenix from the ashes, complete, entire in its manipulation, whilst the character of the subjects and designs represented bespeak the traditions adopted by the artists of the catacombs.

William Robinson - Creation landscape – fountains of the earth 2002
It is evidence of the artist’s maturity and great integrity as a painter: demonstrating his great technical skill, his depth of feeling for the local surroundings in which he works and his recognition of the intimacy and breadth of the natural environment that sustains life on this planet.
Robinson moved from being a classically trained artist with a love of colour who painted interiors, to an artist who enthusiastically embraced the visual possibilities of rural life after he moved to a small farm in Birkdale in the early 1970s.
William Robinson has emerged as a major force in Australian art and has been described as one of the most important Australian landscape artists of the late 20th century.

 Durcharbeitung: March 2005
Specifically the hunger artist laments that “…no one could provide first-hand evidence that the fast had really been rigorous and continuous; only the artist himself could know that, he was therefore bound to be the sole completely satisfied spectator of his own fast.” (270).
Kafka also writes, “…since it was not the hunger artist who was cheating, he was working honestly, but the world was cheating him of his reward.” This leads me to believe, and if I remember correctly, I think the class also believed the hunger artist did care a great deal about the attention he got.
The artist was capable to prolong his fasting, but the people, being inhuman, were hungry for other forms of entertainment to keep them satisfied.

Franz Kafka - A Hunger Artist
No one could possibly watch the hunger artist continuosly, day and night, and so no one could produce first-hand evidence that the fast had really been rigorous and continuous; only the artist himself could know that, he was therefore bound to be the sole completely satisfied spectator of his own fast.
Nothing annoyed the artist more than such watchers; they made him miserable; they made his fast seem unendurable; sometimes he mastered his feebleness sufficiently to sing during their watch for as long as he could keep going, to show them how unjust their suspicions were.
And that was the reason why the hunger artist, who had of course been looking forward to these visiting hours as the main achievement of his life, began instead to shrink from them.

In the mid 1800s, a loosely formed group of artists concentrated their talents on representing the transcendentalist's Nature with a capital "N." It's a kind of romanticism we wouldn't be able to get away with these days; the wink-and-nod would be implicit.

The only evidence for the date of birth is the artist's own statement, made on 31st October and again on 4th November, 1606, that he was sixty-five years of age.
On two occasions, the town of Candia is specified: in Giulio Clovio's letter of 1570 and in 1582, when the artist was acting as interpreter in the trial of another 'Greek' in Toledo, when he states he was a native of the 'town of Candia'.
The evidence is a letter dated 16th November 1570, from Giulio Clovio in Rome addressed to Cardinal Farnese, asking the Cardinal to place the 'young Candian, a pupil of Titian's, recently arrived in Rome', under his protection and give him temporary lodging in his palace.

Comment From The Artist: Calling Zarathustra a myth is not like calling Jesus a myth at all, Jesus's existence was recored in serveral official Roman documents by people who acctually dealt with him at the time and these peaces of second hand evidence still exist to this day.
Calling Zarathustra a myth is more like calling Odesius or Herculies a myth which you can well do because no one has left any evidence behind to prove his existance who accually new them -first hand- all third hand evidence ie.
Comment From The Artist: Hey yeah and the funniest part is that Zarathustra isn't even a religiouse figure, he was a victional character made up by the philosopher Neechy(don't ask me how that's actually suposed to be spelled coz I don't know and don't really care), created to illustrate his ideas on existential indipendant thought.
