Evolutionary ecology lies at the intersection of ecology and evolutionary biology.
It approaches the study of ecology in a way that explicitly considers the evolutionary histories of species and the interactions between them.
The main subfields of evolutionary ecology are life history evolution, sociobiology (the evolution of behavior), the evolution of interspecific relations (cooperation, predator/prey interactions, parasitism, mutualism) and the evolution of biodiversity and of communities.

 Evolutionary Epistemology
Evolutionary epistemology is the attempt to address questions in the theory of knowledge from an evolutionary point of view.
Evolutionary epistemology involves, in part, deploying models and metaphors drawn from evolutionary biology in the attempt to characterize and resolve issues arising in epistemology and conceptual change.
The extent to which an evolutionary approach contributes to the resolution of traditional epistemological and philosophical problems is a function of which approach one adopts (cf.

On Making and Identifying a "Copy"
These are the two general approaches to recognising difference within sameness, each of which may be valid in some circumstances: a "single identifier with qualifier" or "create new multiple fixed identifiers".
The "single identifier with qualifier" approach is used in solving the "appropriate copy" problem in one application with DOIs [18].
A full analysis of any transaction, in the further work done using indecs for MPEG [19], shows that ultimately all transactions are contextual and can be expressed as an event or a situation; and a full analysis of the use of identifiers will show that ultimately, of course, they are all used in some context.

We coined the term TOPOGRAMM in 1987 in view of the hologram or holarchies to show, like microscale in medicine where the term is used, how we can map life across scales.
The system is an approach for selective exploration with high-resolution cameras and sensors - flying magnifying glasses form a chain of methods to combine data acquisition and management of analog and digital sources.
The evolutionary challenge is seen not in using one common image, term or metaphor, but in creating spaces for differences so we can gauge the human prospectus and share and compare our different ways of expression and feeling.

Each in-situ project supported by the zoo aims to provide a broad, holistic approach to conservation, encompassing research, education, habitat and species preservation.
This includes comprehensive, cooperative strategies to link the needs of animals with the people who share their ecosystems.

Most people would say that a more evolutionary approach clearly starts with a PC but moves to incorporate new devices that are more like TV sets.
In a sense, you can say these devices are just the result of the PC getting better and better and moving into more forms.
The people who are investing a lot of money in doing unique material for the Web base their approach on a view that the number of users will grow substantially and so advertising and subscription revenues will also grow.
