Exclusion Bill - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Exclusion Bill crisis ran from 1678 through 1681 in the reign of Charles II of England.
The Exclusion Bill sought to exclude the king's brother and heir presumptive, James, Duke of York from the throne of England because he was Catholic.
Despite two failed attempts to reestablish Parliament and pass the bill, the Crown was successfully able to label the Whigs as subversives and closet nonconformists.

The offices listed in the bill are those of the vice-president, governor, deputy governor, National Assembly membership, state House of Assembly membership, local government chairman and councillor.
It is our belief that if the bill is eventually tabled before it, the Senate will look at it objectively and take a decision which will be in the national and not individual interests.

Bill the Cat - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bill the Cat is a fictional cat appearing in the works of cartoonist Berkeley Breathed, beginning with the comic strip Bloom County in the 1980s and continuing in Outland and Opus in the following decades.
Although Bill was the front-person of Billy and the Boingers, the band excluded him when it became public that he spent his nights staying up late, reading the Bible, accompanied by a nun.
Bill the Cat is commonly seen as a parody of Jim Davis' Garfield, an attempt to create a character so repulsive that it would have absolutely no merchandising potential.

Exclusion laws designed to prevent fl people from coming to Oregon were passed twice during the 1840's, considered several times and finally passed as part of the state constitution in 1857.
An exclusion clause was approved by popular vote in 1857, and remained as a part of Oregon's constitution long after nullification by the Civil War amendments to the federal Constitution.
The immediate justification of the exclusion laws passed in 1844 and 1849 was the fear of combined fl/Indian hostilities, a paranoia that found frequent expression in the documents of the day.

 Whig
The term Whig originates from the Exclusion Bill[?] crisis of 1678-1681 - the Whigs were those who supported the exclusion of James VII and II from the thrones of England, Ireland and Scotland (the "Petitioners") and the Tories were those who opposed it (the Abhorrers).
It was around this time that the great Whig historian Thomas Babington Macaulay began to promulgate what would later be coined the Whig view of history[?], in which all of English history was seen as leading up to the culminating moment of the passage of Lord Grey's reform bill.
The Whig view led to serious distortions in later views of 17th century history, as Macaulay and his followers attempted to fit the complex factional politics of the Restoration into the neat categories of early 19th century political divisions.

The definition of "eligible contract participant" in the Bill, which is based on the definition of "eligible swap participant" under the existing CFTC administrative Swap Exemption, is, in Chase's view, adequate to capture the range of sophisticated participants in the OTC derivatives market for whom the protections of the CEA are not necessary or appropriate.
The Bill's exclusion from the CEA for hybrid instruments that are securities or depository instruments would also go beyond the recommendations of the Working Group Report in a manner that Chase believes is appropriate and beneficial for market participants without raising significant customer protection concerns.
The Bill would accomplish this result by providing that a transaction would not be unenforceable or subject to rescission based on a failure of the transaction to comply with the terms of an exclusion or exemption under the CEA or CFTC rules.

The difference between the McCollum and Simpson "summary exclusion" approaches to correcting the problem of asylum abuse is that the House version also applies exclusion provisions to aliens who enter the United States illegally by circumventing ports of entry.
Despite the similarities between the administration's "expedited exclusion" approach and the provisions in the omnibus House bill and Senator Simpson's Senate bill, there are some significant differences.
Another significant difference between the approaches concerns the difference between "summary exclusion" and "expedited exclusion."
