The Victoria and Albert Museum (VandA) is situated on the corner of Cromwell Road and Exhibition road in South Kensington, London SW7.
Use this to cross Exhibition Road (a wide and very busy road) and turn right to walk a short distance south to the Exhibition Road entrance of the VandA which has level access.
Go to the main entrance on Cromwell Road or the entrance on Exhibition Road, opposite the Science Museum, which has disabled access.

As part of the Hero Festival in Auckland, we organised an Art Exhibition at Kamo Cafe at 382 Karangahape Road.
Spring 2001 Fifth Annual Auckland PRIDE Centre Spring Exhibition of Art at KAMO Cafe & Bar was well attended, better than last year, and we also had the Follow the Yellow Brick Road Photographic Exhibition which ran for a month, the opening of which we had a full-to-capacity crowd in the Centre.
This ran for a month, and the opening was well attended.

The Department was moved to land off Exhibition Road in Kensington in 1860, and other institutions were established in the same area including the School of Naval Architecture and Engineering (later moved to Greenwich), the Royal College of Science, the Royal School of Mines and the Royal College of Art.
In 1858 the commissioners assigned to the Government the land east of Exhibition Road on which the South Kensington Museum (later the Victoria and Albert Museum) was built.
The exhibition made a substantial profit of £186,000, and when its affairs were wound up the commissioners remained a permanent body under a supplemental charter to administer the surplus funds to 'increase the means of industrial education and extend the influence of science and art upon productive industry'.
