In Japanese Expo '70 is often referred as Ōsaka Banpaku (大阪万博).
Like the Tokyo Olympic Games in 1964, Expo '70 is considered as a typical successful event which symbolized the highly rapid development of Japan in the 1960s.
It was held in Suita, a suburb of Osaka.
