		In general, external links should be accessible by the widest audience possible.
		The mass adding of links to any website is also strongly discouraged, and any such operation should be raised at the Village Pump or other such page and approved by the community before going ahead.
		Such dead links should either be removed or updated with archived versions, which may be found at the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.

	Add Internal and External Links
		An internal link is a predefined link to a location outside the course, but within the learning environment.

		If you link to a page far removed from the main page, the exact URL is likely to change, and the link in the course will break.

		At first I thought it was the hyphen in the domain name (because your link and mine both have one), but I tested by removing the hyphen and still had the same problem.

		I have a links page listing a whole bunch of external links and get alot of broken links.
		I want broken links to be redirected to a page that I made instead of the 404 error page.
		When external links are accessed, the visitors browser is searching at the external host, not yours and therefore the 404 error setting of that host will apply.

	Excel Removing external links
		Yesterday I mentioned that Chris from New Zealand had a problem using the free Delete External Links utility from Microsoft.
		This showed me all links in a 50 sheet workbook, gave me the option of deleting each one and showed the complete path of each external link one at at time.
