		George Harrison generally doesn't do very well with his albums issued in close proximity--all his best work (Material World, George Harrison, Cloud 9) have come with at least two-or-three year's preparation.
		Extra Texture just doesn't have much to recommend it.
		Like all George Harrison albums, it rewards the patient customer who plays it repeatedly to allow the songs to "grow on you", but in the case of this album, the songs (except for the superb "You" and "Tired of Midnight Blue") never grow to anything more than mild pleasantness.
