FC WIT Georgia is a Georgian football team, playing in the capital, Tbilisi.
The team is sponsored by WIT Georgia Ltd, (a subsidiary of the U.S. WIT, Inc.), a pet food, accessories, and human and veterinary pharmaceuticals import company.
In 2004 FC WIT Georgia won the Georgian Championship, qualifying them for the early stages of the UEFA Champions League.

There was a festive atmosphere before the match as several thousand Sioni fans made a two-hour trip to the capital from their small village of only 8,000 inhabitants, hoping to witness their side claim a first major title.
The one-off match had to be played after WIT and Sioni ended the league season level on points.

The club was set up by a Georgian veterinary corporation WIT GEORGIA, Ltd. Among its founders is WIT, Inc., a US corporation.
In 1997, when the club was experiencing financial and organizational difficulties and after a long streak of losses was in danger of losing its place in the National League, the President of WIT Georgia, Dr. Guram Rukhadze, managed to attract considerable funds and made every possible effort to rehabilitate the team.
