		I have an Abit Bx6 rev2 mobo with a Celeron 533 fcpga in a Slotkey adapter.
		The original celerons ran at that voltage I believe, but FCPGA 533 should be default at 1.5 if I remember right.
		FCPGA 533= 1.5 volts or somethings close, and 107 F is too hot for stock speed.

		It seems that new series of CELERON 2 which is also FCPGA proccessor doesn`t require this modification to work properly on PPGA mainboards.
		Your mainboard is ready for FCPGA processors, but it doesnt mean it won`t work with PPGA also.
		Also to work with FCPGA processors your mainboard must be able to give 1,5V (1,65V for P3) to the processor and support voltage tweaking (only for overclocking purposes).

		The C533 is a PIII FCPGA so it has the same feature set - SSE and ATC.

		Once they got the microns down so low on the 600+ they went back to flip chips becuase it is a smaller chip.

		The highers FCPGA celeron i found was a 950, which isn't bad.
		My board is not tualtain ready (its a friggn slot one motherboard with 2 burnt out fan headers), but from what i understand, the only diffrence between an FCPGA and FCPGA-2 processor is the voltage.
		Looks like i may be able to keep this board for a bit longer.

		Hi there, I am wondering will sanding the blue slug on my fcpga (socket 370) yield a temperature drop??
		I realise there is no copper slug, but where should I sand down to, will it change color etc???
		The key is get a good heatsink like a globalwin, alpha, or swiftech and if u dont get results then your cpu prob is just not a great oc'r so lapping aint gonna help out much in that case.

		If you want to get a Celeron now (due to the fine price) and upgrade to a Pentium III later, a FCPGA board will be the better choice.
		Be careful with the CPU cooler: Most Pentium (Socket 7) or Celeron coolers cannot be used for FCPGA CPUs, as the Pentium III is not as high as a Pentium MMX.
