The FIFA Women's World Cup's has been contested on four occasions with the USA earning two championships (China '91 and USA '99), Germany one (USA '03) and Norway one (Sweden '95).
The United States became the first nation to host two Women's World Cups when the Sever Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) outbreak forced the event to be moved from China in 2003.
In the 1995 Women's World Cup Norway only allowed one (1) goal throughout the entire tournament (outscoring their opponents 23-1 in six matches).
