This band was in the head space as contemporaries Sonic Youth, Swans, and Scratch Acid.
Kelley and Shaw left the band during the summer of 1976 to attend graduate school at CAL Arts in Los Angeles, California.
The only band he seemed to think where worthwhile from the early Detroit rock scene which he grew up around was the "SRC." I remember being shocked that I had never heard of this band though not too shock when I found how hard it was to find their S/T album.

The RAC Microwave Band Planning Committee is currently reviewing our usage of the amateur bands between 2 and 275 GHz, and is seeking comments and suggestions on possible revisions to two of the plans, which would bring them more in line with international usage.
Most of the present band plans were approved by the RAC Board of Directors on May 23 1998, (three revised plans were approved October 14 2003), and can be found on the RAC web site at http://www.rac.ca/bandplan.htm.
Although 2 metres may be the most used band in Canada according to this survey, 20 metres is the favorite band, with all the other non-WARC bands also in the top six in both categories.

 The Progressive Rock Band FM
FM will appear in concert at the North East Art Rock Festival, NEARfest in the early summer of 2006, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
FM played its last “farewell” show in Toronto in the summer of 1996 at the Molson Amphitheatre located in the waterfront park, Ontario Place.
The 1996 show was entitled “Superstars of the ‘70’s” with such notable mainstream Canadian bands as Bachman Turner Overdrive, April Wine and Loverboy.

I think it has taken the US a while to realize that there is some legitimate talent in Canada but it's not that we have ever had a lack of talent or anything.
If you sound like a Canadian band nobody outside of Canada is probably going to be interested in your music because you sound so indiginous to the area, but if you sound like you are from next door, no matter what country you're in, that is instantly more appealing.
Not that we're not proud being Canadians - we're waving the flag as hard as anybody else - but I'd like to think of Nickelback as an international band.

Guitarist Jason Winter-Jarnigan, and drummer Jesse Atchison, met as children, long before the band "Floraline" was conceived.
There's a simplicity to the songs of "Floraline" that remind me of the late seventies Canadian band "FM," who sometimes opened for "Rush." They don't really sound much alike though.
Other obvious influences are, "Steely Dan" and "China Crisis," with an occasional nod toward the "Smiths." If all of these elements sound like they won't work together, you owe it to yourself to buy this album just to find that they do.

This song is sounding like a cross between AVIATOR and the first FM.
There's only one place you can maybe get a copy of the album and that is by e-mailing ROBERT PANCUR or by checking his AOR online store TARGET RECORDS.
