 | | FM7, happily, lacks the digital halo of hiss that can be a problem with the TX, and occasionally the LFO is too deep or fast, which can happen if the original Preset uses Breath Controller as a modulation source, and is easily fixed. |
 | | FM7 can thus be used as a remix tool to add grunge, distortion and edgy FM effects to existing audio (or any audio within Cubase), or it can use that audio as a complex modulator for a whole Preset. |
 | | FM7 comes very close to the ideal for a new implementation of an older technology: it remains backwards-compatible, and yet offers greater sonic range and versatility, and at the same time is easier and more fun to use. |
