When FUDOSI was convened in Brussels, Lewis condescended to permit his Rosicrucian legitimacy to be accredited by Jean Mallinger's sparring-partner Marc Laval.
FUDOSI had been convened with the sole aim of buttressing Lewis's claims to Rosicrucian legitimacy, and was promptly disbanded once it had served its purpose; but it brought Reuben Swinburne Clymer back into the picture.
There are exhaustive accounts of FUDOSI in the French literature on Rosicrucianism, but here I limit my references to Serge Caillet: "Sar Hiéronymus", Paris 1986, and Clymer's books.

This periodical, which was the Rosicrucian version of «L`initiation», announced the formation of the FUDOSI in 1934, and also declared the «Fama Fraternitatis» of Lewis and Jollivet-Castelot.
It is interesting to notice that Victor Blanchard was made FUDOSI Imperator of the Orient (while Lewis was Imperator of America and Dantinne was Imperator of Europe).
The OMCE does not derive from the MCE of FUDOSI, but rather from another lineage of the original MCE of Simon Studion, which is still in existance under the name I.S. Milites Templi, and have for instance a couple of lodges in Belgium.
