Fab (magazine) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The national magazine struggled to build an audience, and was sold in 1998; its new owners ceased publication of the magazine within a few months.
After 100 issues, Kennedy was replaced by Mitchel Raphael in 2002; Raphael left the magazine in January of 2006 and was replaced by the magazine's current editor, Steven Bereznai.
The magazine is distributed as a free publication in Toronto, Hamilton, London and Ottawa, and is available in some other Canadian cities for a cover price of $2.25 per issue.

FAB is the progressive development of the Toronto -based fab publication that informed and entertained the Toronto lesbigay scene in the past few years.
As the publishers of the magazine have stated in The Toronto Star, "FAB's content is upbeat and fresh...[it] will leave the politics and anger to those publications that have built their reputations on it." (The Toronto Star, September 12, 1996).

Skin Diver Magazine Reviews Fab Force SD1
The Fab Force is made from polyurethane, into which "snappy" rounded polyurethane ribs are injected.
The movement of the blade felt similar to that of a traditional fin, offering resistance on both the up and down strokes, but the propulsion generated was significantly better than my regular set of "stiff bladed" fins.
The Fab Force fins weigh just over 3 pounds per pair, float in both salt and fresh water and come in a variety of color schemes including grey, blue and yellow accents.

But for the members of a new association of fab owners, the recent pooled purchase is a healthy sign for the future of the fledgling organization.
The fab executive believes interest in collaborative efforts is spurred in great part by competition, first from Japan and now from China.
"A fab manager can look at this and say, 'I have x of these, and he has y of those.' How is he supporting those?" In some cases, the equipment may be older and out of warranty, Guttadauro points out, and the information can help managers maintain the operational efficiency of their installed tool base.

Semiconductor Magazine - Taking the Division Out of Fab, Assembly and Test
Fab, assembly and test are in most cases divided by management, budget and physical location.
In fact, “division” is the operative word and is a cause for greater and greater concern as the semiconductor industry is faced with the reality that for all of its cost, test cannot keep up with the rest of the industry.
So as not to pick on assembly, product design and wafer fab create their share of waves in test by reducing pad pitch and increasing density, resulting in power dissipation requirements of bare die, not to mention test time increases due to new circuit complexity.

Semiconductor Magazine - Copper Interconnects Face Fab Realities
When an existing fab converts from aluminum to copper, it is essential to protect existing processes from contamination.
Most fabs have segregated lithography tools for the FEOL from those for the back-end-of-line (BEOL), Bergeron said, but are using the same tools for both copper and aluminum interconnects.
Moreover, Bergeron said, not all fab processes are equally mature, particularly in the 193 nm resist and low-k dielectric areas.

Slant Magazine - Music Review: Stereolab: Fab Four Suture
But the reference to the Beatles' final studio album would've been appropriate, as Stereolab's first album released in the States following their dismissal from the WEA is simultaneously a structural free-for-all and a glossy collection of diverse material.
That's probably because it's not really an album at all but a collection of 7" singles that have been released in two 3-EP chunks, the first batch last year and the second simultaneously with the release of this compilation.
Fab Four opens and closes with a starry, glam-rock shuffle "Kyberneticka Babicka." Like a slice of Xanadu "Magic," the shifting chords, squelching organ runs, and sustained vocal harmonizing provide a hypnotic overture, a call to skates as conducted (or DJed) by Sgt. Pepper himself.
