Fabrique Nationale de Herstal, more often known as Fabrique Nationale and abbreviated simply as FN or FN Herstal, is a well-known firearm manufacturer that originated in the Belgian city of Herstal, near Liège.
The Fabrique Nationale d'Armes de Guerre was established in 1889 to manufacture 150,000 Mauser rifles ordered by the Belgian Government.

The FN (Fabrique Nationale - Belgium) Herstal F2000 is a bullpup (magazine behind the grip) design.
It's pretty much a multi-purpose assault rifle (the grenade launcher is actually optional - it's even missing in the photo of the guy firing it), while the OICW is pretty much a support weapon (the whole point is the grenade launcher, the rifle part is actually just a modified HK36).
The OICW uses a six shot (bullpup) magazine of 20mm Grenades (though it's not the only gun to use 20mm explosive rounds - most of the others are anti-material rifles that are not programmable to my knowledge) so it can fire again and again and again and again...

We've followed for some time now the eternal discussion concerning which is the best round to be used by the individual rifleman, and must say the 7.62x51 (.308) is still our favorite.
Used at one time or another by 70 or more countries the FAL has all but disappeared from service issue but is still being produced in Brazil, manufactured by IMBEL, and in the U.S. under various configurations.
