In Roedoeb district of Samangan province, 25 tons of mixed food are being distributed to 450 families affected by nine days of heavy rain that resulted in devastating floods.
Almost 400 families are affected by floods in Kapisa and Parwan provinces and WFP has already dispatched 12 tons of food assistance to 180 families living in dire condition under tents, lacking drinking water and with poor sanitation, while it has sent 10 tons of food for 171 families in Kunduz province.
