The band has been added to the list of honorees for the second annual UK Music Hall Of Fame ceremony, which is being held November 16th at the Alexandra Palace in North London.
Surely you should be pleased for the band that you supposedly "love", has been reconised for their contribution to music and inducted into what isn't by any stretch the imagination an amazing hall of fame, but the fact they got voted to join in the first place is something to be pleased about.
You never know, the band's profile might have been raised even more in the eyes of the watching public who might never have given the band a second look (for example, the filmed montage gave a setting for the sheer history of the band, as May said, from 1964 onwards).

In September of 1995, an official Fritz's Polka Band Fan Club was formed.

The mere fact that they play their own instruments is a testimony to that by definition.
I mean, really, they did make legitimate contributions to the music industry and to their credit, aside from playing their own instruments and using their voices to entertain us, they also wrote quite a few of their own tunes.
