 | | The mission of Family and Consumer Sciences Education is to prepare students for family life, work life, and careers in family and consumer sciences by providing opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors needed for: |
 | | Topics include: nutrition and wellness for individuals and families across the life span; community and world food concerns, including hunger; impacts of technology on nutrition, foods, and related tools and equipment; management of food-related resources; acquiring, organizing, and which emphasize advanced applications are required. |
 | | Family and Consumer Sciences Issues and Applications is an advanced-level, project-based course in which students integrate higher order thinking, communication, leadership, and management processes to conduct investigations in family and community services. |
