RPGFan - Famitsu Grandia II Interview
The portion of the interview translated here is the result of a multi-part interview that Famitsu is conducting over the PSX release of Grandia.
Famitsu: So this is a game that the fans of Grandia can look forward to.
Not only is the scenario and the characters more mature, the world the game takes place in has a cool and harsh feel to it, so the image of the game itself will be a different one than the one that you've seen.

 The MagicBox Forums - Famitsu
Edit: One of the main things i like about Famitsu is that they have female reviewers and that definately balances out the opinion.
Another thing people don't seen to understand is Famitsu is written for the Japanese market in mind; with 40:60 female:male gamers, their reviews are going to be skewed towards more neutral gender titles.
Theres little excuse for Famitsu who have always been blatantly in favour of scoring FF higher then deserved.

Famitsu doesn't say anything in particular about this one: "It's got speed, and that's all it needs," I suppose.

PS3 hard drive to be sold separately, claims Famitsu // GamesIndustry.biz
The latest issue of Famitsu includes a feature about the PS3 hardware which says that the device will ship with a slot for a hard drive - which can be found on the underside of the machine, and is designed to accommodate a 2.5" hard drive package - but not with the drive itself.
The hard drive, Famitsu claims, would be sold separately - much like the hard drive for the PlayStation 2, which is used by a small number of games, most notably Square Enix' massively multiplayer title Final Fantasy XI.
It's not clear whether Famitsu is simply basing an assumption on the inclusion of the drive on Kutaragi's previous comments, or if the magazine actually has new information about Sony's thinking on the matter.

Famitsu fetes Final Fantasy XII with 40/40 review score - Joystiq
Famitsu is a Japanese magazine geared towards Japan and I could personally give two shits about it, and secondly...isn't Japan pretty much filled with gamer guys and gals that basicly mastrubate to any and every RPG that is released by a Japanese company?
I'm sure the editors of Famitsu are quaking in their boots wondering how to recapture the American fanboy market with their Japanese magazine that's sold in Japan to Japanese gamers.
For those who are going with the idea that Famitsu loves Square-Enix so much they give good reviews to all their games blindly, then you need actualy look at their record.
