Song, he says, is not a flight of fancy.
It and Song are emulating the business model of ``no-frills'' Southwest, the so-called ``flying Wal-Mart'' which is flying relatively smoothly through the industry's current turbulence, having recorded in 2002 its 30th consecutive profitable year.
Song's first green-and-white, all coach, 199-passenger 757s will take off April 15, and all 36 will be in service by December.

Amazon.com: Still "Young & Foolish": Music
Albert Hague is the composer of the melodies of two fine Broadway scores: 1955's Plain and Fancy (the source of his best known song "Young and Foolish") and 1959's Redhead.
Also of note are songs Hague wrote with the late comedian Allan ("Muddah, Faddah") Sherman for a 1968 show Fig Leaves Are Falling that never made it to Broadway.
Whatever other failings hung over that musical, the songs presented here indicate that the score wasn't one of them.

 Why Song failed - AdJab
when i flew song, i was greeted by a salsa-music-playing, ultra-stereoyped speedy gonzales-type character playing on the sound system, covering all the usual topics about safety etc that flight attendants would have done.
I suspect though I have no evidence to support it, that if Song was as successful and profitable as it seems they were, the reason they were killed has a lot to do with internal politics and little to do with business.
Yes, Song probably went too far with the stores and maybe Delta will keep the best parts of Song, but as a Song frequent flyer I am going to miss them.

 The Commercial Clash
In Jaguar's case, the fancy car-maker and its agency had already settled on a summer-long US ad campaign underscoring the brand's Britishness and revolving around the words ''London calling,'' before the question of music was even addressed, according to Simon Sproule, vice president of communications for the company.
As it happens, the only time a Clash song ever hit number one in the United Kingdom was in 1991, long after the band had split up, when ''Should I Stay Or Should I Go'' was lifted by its appearance in a Levi's ad.
A few weeks ago on the MTV Video Music Awards, Rudy Giuliani made his entrance to the chorus from ''Rudie Can't Fail,'' yet another Clash number from ''London Calling.'' Those words by themselves sounded right, but as the spelling suggests, the song is actually a not-very-flattering meditation on Jamaican ''rude boys,'' slang for swaggering troublemakers.

WAM Archive - Song Of The Year 2003
Production Quality: As WAM Song Of the Year is a song contest (and not a recording one) it is important to listen beyond any fancy production qualities a song may have and focus on the song itself.
Songs do not have to be listened to in their entirety, but they should be 'searched' through to enable judges to get a more overall impression of the artist's vision.
Once all songs have been listened to votes are to be tallied and divided by the number of judges scoring (see Conflict Of Interest below), with a combination of the top scoring songs and all songs receiving at least one '4' from any judge to make an original shortlist.

perhaps not the best song for a festival, but this is a band working more for their own fancy than those of everyone else - as it should be.
It wasn't clear whether the song worked as an opener or not, although it was a pleasant surprise to see it included in a live set again...
This was a return for the full electric version of the song, but was an understated performance throughout, until the immortal last lines that have become something of a long-standing manifesto for the band - whether they like it or not.

Bursting with Song--Review of Hello, Dolly!
Dolly smooths things over with Irene and arranges for Cornelius and Barnaby to take Irene and her assistant Minnie Fay to dinner, first teaching the men how to dance so they can go to the Harmonia Gardens, a fancy restaurant (though they first go to the 14th Street Parade that evening).
("Hello, Dolly" won a Grammy for Song of the Year over "A Hard Day's Night"--hmph!) The other numbers in which she appears ("I Put My Hand In," "Motherhood," "Dancing," and "So Long Dearie") are only memorable when she's singing; one's attention wanders whenever someone else comes up to the mike.
The rest of the songs are barely more than background music, though "It Takes a Woman" is mildly funny for combining images of fragile, dainty women with the chores that Horace expects them to perform.

DVDtoons! Reviews - Fun and Fancy Free
Fun And Fancy Free begins with Jiminy Cricket (who quickly became a big star after Pinocchio and went on to “host” The Mickey Mouse Club and several other Disney specials), singing I’m A Happy-Go-Lucky Fellow - a song written for, but cut from Pinocchio.
Fun And Fancy Free contains the stories of “Mickey And The Beanstalk” and “Bongo”, both re-issued as featurettes later, in Beanstalk’s case as an episode of the Wonderful World Of Disney that was then issued as a short with narration by the animated Ludwig Von Drake.
In all, Fun And Fancy Free is perhaps most wanted by Disney completists as it was the last time Walt himself performed the task of voicing Mickey Mouse.

Jack and Jill, by Louisa May Alcott : Arthur's Classic Novels
Jill suffered most in her mind; for only a sharp stab of pain now and then reminded her of her body; but her remorseful little soul gave her no peace for thinking of Jack, whose bruises and breakages her lively fancy painted in the darkest colors.
Jill shut her eyes with sudden and unusual meekness, and before her mother had crooned half a dozen verses of an old ballad, the little black head lay still upon the pillow, and repentant Jill was fast asleep with a red mitten in her hand.
Jack and Jill never cared to say much about the night which followed the first coasting party of the season, for it was the saddest and the hardest their short lives had ever known.
