Fang the Sniper - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fang the Sniper, also known as Nack the Weasel, is a character in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe.
The character was originally conceived as Fang the Sniper, the name by which he was known in the Japanese Sonic games, but this was changed for American and European releases to Jet the Sniper, until eventually Sega settled for Nack the Weasel.
Fang the Sniper was originally set to appear in Sega Saturn's Sonic X-Treme as a boss character; however, the game was eventually scrapped after several months of development turmoil.

Fang is definitely someone who believes money brings true happiness, and he fights hard to pursue that goal.
Luckily, Fang's trigger happy hand only becomes a hazard when he is actually asked to go after somebody (which is rare, since most people in the underground, so to speak, know that Fang is likely to turncoat at any minute if they hire him).
Fang isn't very physically strong, and he's pretty slow on his feet, which is why he gets around using a hoverbike.

In his earlier years, when he went by the name ‘Fang the Sniper,’ Nack competed for Chaos Emeralds, and worked for Robotnick, only to turn against him a few months later, assassinating several important Underbosses prior to 3234.
Later dropping the moniker of ‘Fang,’ he went on to pull off other high profile heists, which included the kidnapping of the Crown Princess, and the attempted assassination of the Angel Island Guardian, Knuckles.
In his time, Nack has worked for enough parties on Mobius that, even though he is wanted by all of them, they want even more to have him work for them.

Although being a sequel of a lackluster Japanese-only game, Sonic Drift 2 is a great game in its own right.
You can choose from various Sonic characters, ranging from Sonic & Tails to Fang the Sniper & Metal Sonic.
One little comment about this game, though, is that they didn’t change the Japanese names for Dr. Robotnik & Nack the Weasel into their American equivalents.
