	Fantasyland - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Fantasyland at the original Disneyland features a central courtyard dominated by King Arthur's Carrousel, in front of which sits a sword in an anvil; several times each day a costumed Merlin helps a child pull the sword from it.
		In 1983, Fantasyland received a major facelift and the attraction facades changed from medieval tents to unique buildings themed to the movies upon which the dark rides were based.
		Fantasyland's main entrance is through Sleeping Beauty Castle, which has a separate walkthrough attraction that opened in 1957 but closed in 2001 after the September 11 terrorist attacks for security reasons.

	Fun Facts of Fantasyland's Cinderella Castle
		The apartment that had been built for Walt is now used as a dressing room for the people from Entertainment (for example, the "Mayor's" costume is kept there).
		The windows to look out of are the yellow ones facing Liberty Square and those that face Fantasyland.

	The SF Site Featured Review: The Tough Guide to Fantasyland
		The Tough Guide to Fantasyland was published in the United Kingdom in 1996, and North American readers have been hearing ever since about this clever sendup of all that is tired and stale in the hordes of FFTs (Fat Fantasy Trilogies) published these days.
		The conceit behind the book is that Fantasyland is a tour stop (though most will want to make at least three trips!) and The Tough Guide to Fantasyland is a sort of Fodor's for this tour.
		Jones has a lot of fun with the ubiquity of STEW as a Fantasyland meal, and she has a point.
