The Russian Far East basically corresponds to the territories of Amur Oblast, Chukotka, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, Kamchatka Oblast, Koryakia, Khabarovsk Krai, Magadan Oblast, Primorsky Krai, Sakha (Yakutia) Republic, and Sakhalin Oblast.
The Russian Far East should not be confused with Siberia, which does not stretch all the way to the Pacific.
