		The icing on this album, though, are the medleys and the guest appearances.
		The drums on the album are not as crisp, clear, and authoritative as I remember them.
		One exception is at the very end of the album, where they actually added chatter: John Schlitt saying thank you for 33 years of ministry, which I am fairly certain was recorded in the studio.

	Paly Voice: Phish's farewell album, Undermind, perpetuates rock legacy
		The band's reputation began to precede it, and although it had a few albums out at this point, listeners were mainly interested in their shows.
		This is Anastasio's favorite song on the album, and on the DVD one can see him jumping up and singing along in an excited fit as he listens to this song for the first time since recording it.
		This album finishes with an a cappella song called "Grind." Phish have performed many other a cappella songs in their career, including "Hello My Baby," and a cover of the Lynyrd Skynyrd song "Freebird." "Grind," however was Phish's first-recorded a cappella song.

		I have waited a long time for a live album from this band since I saw them on the Beyond Belief tour and could not believe the energy of this band and how loud they were.
		Over the years, they have released dozens of albums, including an unfortunate number of forgettable compilation albums that were obviously strung together (presumably by record labels trying to squeeze the band's former success for all of its worth) without much thought or creativity.
		And as they have struggled to keep afloat over the past several years, I was apprehensive that their appropriately-titled farewell album would cause them to depart with a whisper.

		That definitely is not the case as they've made up for all of their down time with the release of Rivendell's third full length album "Farewell The Last Dawn".
		A lot of albums have nice catchy melodies, but few have melodies and structures that actually make you feel as if you're part of the music like this one does.

		This, essentially Emitt Rhodes' third and final album, is once again a one-man-band affair.
		This album also finds Rhodes experimenting with other instruments, such as violin on "Warm Self Sacrafice," one of the album's standouts.
		Although not as buoyant as his earlier efforts, Farewell to Paradise is still a very strong album, and further cements his reputation as one of the great (albeit long-lost) artists of the period.

		We're currently in the studio recording the eleven-song album entitled "Chapters" which will be released as early as the beginning of May. The album will ONLY be available at our farewell shows, through mail-order, and through iTunes download.
		To a lot of people, this might seem like the most inappropriate time to end a band we were writing a follow-up record, we had just joined a great booking agency, we had all the gear, and we were playing better than we ever had before.
