		Farina came to the Plains after a three-year stay at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis., where she took over a Golden Eagle team that had won just 11 matches in the year prior to her first year on the job.
		Farina went to Michigan State after a year as a teacher and coach of the Mile High Volleyball Club in Denver, Colo. During the summer of 1998, she toured Europe with the American Management Group (AMG), which exposed college players to international volleyball.
		Farina received her bachelor's degree in English from Illinois in 1992 and her master's in student affairs administration from Michigan State in 1998.
