		The Farm Credit System Foundation's mission is to assist young, beginning, and small farmers and ranchers to thrive as businesspersons in their local and the global agricultural marketplaces.
		This year Carolina Farm Credit also hosted two employees and one farm couple from neighboring Farm Credit of the Virginias as they sought to learn from our event in hopes of expanding their one-day event.
		First Pioneer Farm Credit, the largest lender to agriculture in the Northeast, released information today indicating that dairy farmers in 2006 had one of their worst financial periods since the inception of the Farm Credit Northeast Dairy Farm Summary report 28 years ago.
