		Farndon (Welsh: Rhedynfre) is a village in the county of Cheshire, England, on the banks of the River Dee, south of Chester, and close to the border with Wales.
		Farndon is the birthplace of the famous cartographer John Speed (1542-1629).
		Edward the Elder died at Farndon in 924.
