By now we all know that the 2003 Canvass is in process for financing the operating expenses of the church in the 2003-2004 fiscal year.
The next meetings are Saturday, February 22 from 10 to 12:30 in the Commons, and Saturday, March 22 from 10 to 12:30 in the Fireplace Room of Hollin Hall.

The AHA couched their argument in the context of managed care instead of the true reason of the general versus the for profit specialty hospital and the restriction on privileges for economic reasons.
This fund would be paid into by the insurers at the rate of several dollars per insured patient and by a $15 per head charge to each physician and lawyer in the state.
The physicians were not keen on the idea since the HMOs will just pass the amount on to the insureds raising the costs of medical insurance and the physicians would not see any reduction in their premiums.

There will be those, ignorant of the ways of the world, who will say "Hey, the Aussies beat us at cricket, rugby, tennis and just about anything else so why should we bothered about a game of football?" Oh Lord, have mercy on them for they know not what they do.
As someone who could rather do with a cheque for £116 (the new license fee) right now, I seriously resent the assumption that tricking ever more money out of people is justified or good.

This last weekend, February 7 and 8th, two very nice and very different events were held at the Eagles Hall here in Alameda.
On guitar was the Bay Area's own Terry Buddgh, who is not only Queen Ida's bass player, but this night, put on some very fancy guitar licks and had the rhythm down solid.
I must admit it took a few songs for the guys to jell, but after about 15 minutes, they got going and just rocked.

This is, of course, every Cub fan’s 2003 nightmare, that Dusty Baker will be so enamored of the 35-year old Karros and the 32-year old Grudzielanek that the 24-year old Choi and 25-year old Hill sit on the bench.
I’ve said this a number of times, and so has every Cubs analyst with a brain in his head: the only effective way to use Karros is as the short side of a platoon with Choi, if you think Choi can’t hit lefties (and I don’t know whether he can or not).
