The USACE and LDNR have scheduled a public meeting for the night of February 20th for the purpose of presenting an array of draft alternative plans for public review and comment.
Meeting materials, including project maps, will be posted on the internet at the study's web site (www.coast2050.gov) so that all attendees can prepare their comments in advance.

When I first found your site a year ago I was disgusted with it because I felt it was propaganda from the FDA and drug companies designed to scare people away from their competition.
The reaction was the same as the one in February, but longer and stronger.

Since February is Black History month, a friend of mine suggested my topic be the "Buffalo Soldiers" which I thought was a great idea until another friend reminded me the name "Buffalo Soldiers" wasn't acquired until about 1871 which was well after the Civil War.
Then I was going to use the title United States Colored Troops, but that wasn't what I wanted either as all the fl troops weren't USCT and I wanted to cover then all....

This notion is at the heart of a new, multi-year project that the AAAS launched in February to help federal judges find well-respected engineers and scientists to serve as expert witnesses.
Known as CASE, for Court Appointed Scientific Experts, the project was developed under the aegis of the National Conference of Lawyers and Scientists (NCLS), a committee of AAAS and the American Bar Association’s Science and Technology Law Section.
RandD funding for defense increased by 7 percent, to $45.5 billion, the report’s authors said, “bringing defense and non-defense RandD near parity for the first time in 20 years.” To gather this information, the report’s authors analyzed 13 appropriations bills, as well as the budgets of two dozen federal agencies.
