February 2nd: Candlemas Celebration - Associated Content
Commonly celebrated on February 2nd, Candlemas is a Christian based holiday marking the end of Christmas and the Epiphany.
While the two events may seem to be completely unrelated they are, possibly, interconnected through a variety of revisions in traditional Candlemas events in which bears and wolves are believed to have marked this day as day on which they are permitted to come forth from Winter hibernation with the purification of the Virgin Mary.
While Candlemas is believed to mark the 40th day on which the Virgin Mary would have been purified from her birth of a son, so are observers of this holiday.

Yet at the same time, kinda cracks me up how hard they try to be anti-establishmentary, yet end up very much all following a very scripted look.
