February 8th, 2005 01:45 PM I am just not a big fan of the notion of dedicated "resist gear." It kinda sucks to get some armor, only to be unable to use it for vast stretches as you don some crappier stuff that has +resists.

UNI : February 7th: Brazilian National Graphical Worker Day   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-18)
On February 7th we, the Brazilian graphical workers relive memorable battles carried out by the workers of our sector.
In addition to fighting for better working conditions, the struggle was for the recognition of the UGT-UNION DE TRABAJADORES GRAFICOS (Union of Graphical Workers) as the union that would legally represent the workers of this category in the State of Sao Paulo.
This is a relevant framework for our history and it must be said that throughout these 81 years of existence we have been able to say, in full awareness, that the fight for our rights was worthwhile.

In one of the small rooms of the old British Museum (Montague House), there had been exhibited, for many years, that celebrated production of ceramic art—the Portland Vase; when, on the 7

The Portland Vase was found about the year 1560, in a sarcophagus in a sepulchre under the Monte del Grano, two miles and a half from Rome.

In a recent email from Tim Beck (01/27/01) he confirms that a meeting with Detroit Mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick, is being scheduled for this deadline date of February 7th.
Let us just hope that Kwame turns out to be a progressive thinker who will at least allow the voters their right to vote on the merits of the DMMI this August.
More importantly let us hope that Kwame does not use this meeting to announce his strategy to derail DMMI: an initiative that has already received certification by the voters of Detroit.
