The History of Mardi Gras in New Orleans
Februus was a god the Greeks "borrowed" from the conquered Sabines, and a very popular god indeed.
Eventually, Februus was promoted to King of the Underworld and immediately changed his name to Pluto.
Much later, when the Roman and Greek traditons began to mix, Februus became Juno Februa, and was now a goddess of love and, of course, fertility.

As I began writing songs for the first Februus record, I listened to the back catalogue of "Cruel Kindness" tracks and was suprised that, hidden in the confining samples & loops that defined them, there were some very good tracks.
Songs from my past projects that have been given a Februus reworking are "Kill The Innocents", "Over (part I)", "Alone" and "The Pope Goes to Meet His Fate," with a few more waiting to be reworked for future records.

Februus Depth is the sort of map where I could waffle on for pages and pages and pages about how awesome it is, but you wouldn't really know just how great it is until you played it yourself.
For most of the structures, the map uses the original cobblestone, brick, and brown metal textures from Quake, but czg uses the lighting and architectural style to create a disparate aesthetic heretofore unseen--quite an accomplishment considering how many times these textures have been used before.
The gameplay in Februus Depth is a linear battle with the medieval monsters, and is kept quite interesting by the situations the monsters are used in.

Februa, or Februalia, was a month-long festival celebrating the god of purification, Februus.
Homes were cleaned and blessed, offerings of reparation were given and peace was made.
Although my research isn’t quite clear on this, eventually you get around to some of Februus becoming associated with the god Pluto, ruler of the Underworld, and other parts become identified with Juno Februa, the goddess of fertility and passion.
