Patterson and her colleagues at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington, had done a "diet backlash" study which was published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association.
Diets studied included high-fat and protein, low-carbohydrate; moderate-fat and low- and very low-fat models, which ranged from as high as 65 percent total calories from fat to less than 10 percent.
High-protein diets that are low in carbohydrates can result in a condition called ketosis, which may lead to a significant increase in blood uric acid concentrations.

The next diet, which met at Regensburg in 1663, never issued a recess, and was never dissolved; it continued in permanent session, as it were, till the dissolution of the Empire in 1806.
